This is beautiful. It's scary to think of applying but once you do it, you're amazed. It stays where you put it even though you think it would fly off. I'm a little self conscious about shiny or sparkling products because I do have "wrinkly" eye lids. I prefer a matte because I think the wrinkles are less obvious although that's a personal viewpoint. I've had mu artists tell me that's not true. It definitely makes your blue/green eyes look green if that's your goal.

I own 2 of these and although they may seem a little pricey, they are well-worth it. THey are a lot bigger than standard MAC shadows and the combination of colors in each provides a great finished product. Highly reccommended!
My absolute FAVORITE product by mac is their Mineralize Eyshadows! They are always so gorgeous and multi use! I love that you can use them wet OR dry... long lasting, just perfect in every way! A+++++

I have many of these mineralize shadows and love them for their sheerness, weightlessness, and shimmer. Unfortunately I tried this in the new Fireside shade which looks god-awful on me -- as though I had a black eye. If you're fair to light-skinned, I'd stay away from this particular shade!
I bought this in a limited edition from winter last year. It's called Snow Season. I haven't tried any other colors, but THIS one is amazing and I will cry when it is finally gone. I am a nursing student, so during the day I keep my makeup simple. I use this alone over my Shell Cream Colour Base most days. It stays put all day long. Love it. Now if I can find a replacement color!

I ordered this eyeshadow in Magnetic Attraction, which I feel is the prettiest one. I read on some makeup blogs that these eye shadows were not durable, creased, and were not very well pigmented. I can't speak for all of the colors, but I know for sure magnetic attraction is pretty pigmented and durable. I love this eye shadow. it is pretty sparkly which I like and it is not heavy or difficult to work with. I use primer and a base shadow and it stays on very well. M.A. is a like a dark coral color, which is good for my dark features. Very nice. Heard water was a disappointment, but definitely give these a try.

i have this eye shadow in cinderfella, at first i thought that i was going to be paying to much for this eyeshadow and not like it, i couldnt have been more wrong, i wear this eyeshadow everyday with any color i want to mix with. i use it to line the outside of my eyes and blend it with pigment, i like it becuase since it is mineralized i can make it darker or lighter depending on where in the compact i pull the shadow from... AMAZING stuff
Love, love, love these shadows! I will be honest, at first I couldn't justify paying $21 for an eye shadow. Well, I am highly glad I did. Mac has the best eye shadow by far. I especially love the mineralized eye shadow in the colors I have so far...young punk and Smutty Green. I wear them (not together) everyday at work and I work in the office! Everyone always compliments me on my eyes. I also use a few of the pigmented eye shadows which I love. I hope MAC never stops making Young Punk. It is my favorite by far! It also lasts a while and I wear a lot on an everyday basis. I HIGHLY recommend. I will be back when mine runs out!
Oh, and the color is highly pigmented, bold, easily blendable, and lasts and lasts! It doesn't crease as long as a good eye primer is applied beforehand. :-) Hope this was helpful!
I looove these eyeshadows 'cause they're highly pigmented and shimmery. I got 'em in Sky, Earthly and Magnetic Attraction. They are perfect to wear during night time, bright sunny days and special occasions. I could even wear 'em at work.

Not That Great
Date:August 1, 2012
I purchased the limited edition colour 'Water' online recently, and I am not happy with it. It is hardly pigmented at all, and it is hard to get each colour separately on the eye. So when you swirl it together, it creates a very faint, dark (ugly) green colour. This is the only colour that I own of the Mineralize Eyeshadows so I can't speak for any of the other colours.
the color is amazing, goes on great, & looks beautiful!

I've been a fan of the MSFs for a while now, but I have steered clear of the mineralize e/s products due to the bad reviews I have heard from random sources, and I have never been willing to take a chance before this gorgeous collection came out. I went a little nuts and got all 9! Now that I have swatched each one both wet and dry (and have even worn a full eye look using 5 colors), I can honestly say I am a huge fan! I don't recommend using these dry--they seem to me like the true color pay-out is in using a damp brush and making a virtual paint out of the pigment. After it dries, you can blend any hard edges nicely. Sky is the only one that is nearly the same dry as it is wet; Universal Appeal is no where near as appealing as the name suggests. Every pan is going to be different, so My Water and Aurora look different from every singly blogger swatch I have seen yet! I love the effect, love the unique colors created by each pan, and I love the unique frost effect I get from these that I don't get from the Frosts or Veluxe Pearl shadows. I do agree with a previous reviewer that it would be nice if these were available in Pro pans to fit in their own Pro Palette--these are going to be awkward to take on a job. :(

Gilt By Association !

Tags: Bold Color, dressing up mainly but if you use little it would, work for every day.
Just got it today in the mail, and I am really satisfied. There is alot in the little package it comes in and it is also something that I could work for an everyday if I don't use too much. The only downfall is that it stains your fingers. besides that, it is a wonderful product and I hope you keep making it .(:

True love!

I have all of these colors and love each one of them! I use these with the new Pearlglide liners and the color payoff is intense! If you wet your 242 brush to apply, the color you get on your eye is exactly what you see in the container. Rich, vibrant, just the right sparkle, and long-lasting. If you apply dry, the finish is soft, smooth, and the sparkle has a very slight, sheer wet look. MAC, please make more colors with this formula!!

Smutty Green

Love Smutty Green, but feel it looks better if you put it on with a wet brush. The green color really sticks out!
what a beautiful shade of blue/grey/black/silver/white. A wonderful combination. I wear a NC20-NC15 and am a Light Plus in the mineral foundation. I have brown hair and as earlier stated, brown eyes with a little green. This accents my pale skin and dark hair wonderfully, you can go dramatic or light with this, very versitile. I reccomend this for everyone, such a beautiful color and I absolutely love it. Now I'm gonna by others!!!
