I own over 50 pairs of lashes from various brands and MAC lashes are by far the most flexible and comfortable I have tried. These are the lashes I find myself wearing the most out of all of them - they are soft, flexible and surprisingly light given their size. A lot of times I have trouble with looking like I have sleepy heavy eyelids with a lash this big - they can weigh you down quite a bit especially on tired days but I had no problem with the MAC #44.
They are a very subtle blend of black and brown hairs which at first I wasn't open to - I thought that I needed black black.... but once mine arrived I realized that the shape, length and thickness of them gives them their oomph while the mixed hairs keep them from looking like cheap plastic. It's hard to find a good pair of bold dramatic lashes without that big cheap looking high shine but these are it! Once on your face, they still read like black lashes - just better and more natural looking.
As far as large, dramatic lashes go these are the best!

I got these a month back to wear for a concert & so many people complimented how great they look. I was bold enough even to wear it to work & everyone there loved them too. Thank God I have a really cool boss....LOL

I felt like Bambi when I put these on! They're very dramatic--not your "day-time" eyelash, but they're really different. I curl them to add more of a feminine look and use pastel eye shadows with them. It kind of reminds me of putting feathers on my eyelids--so for a show or a night out these are great!
