I switch back and forth between this and my Studio Fix pressed powder to set my liquid foundation. I honestly prefer this over the pressed in terms of the finished look, but I hate carrying the powder and brush with me. Other than that, this product is amazing.

I've been using this powder for years. It's the only powder light enough for my fair skin and it sets my foundation wonderfully. I love it!

This powder made my skin look the best it ever has. I use Matchmaster foundation and with this over it, I lasted though a hectic day at work and my foundation was still intact. My question is can it be used with the Mac Airbrush foundation or is it too reflective for photographs?

I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT NW20!! PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!

Tags: Natural looking, Shine control, Non-Drying, setting foundation before blush & eye shadow., mid-day touch ups so makeup doesn't start to run.
I have been using Mac for over fifteen years & have received so many compliments on how natural my makeup always looks. I have always set my foundation with the Select Sheer Loose NW20 and it leaves my makeup looking great all day! I've had to use other brands of loose powder before (when a Mac counter wasn't near) & ALL OF THEM MAKE ME LOOK ORANGE OR CAKED & FAKE! I can not use the "NC" shades as they are just the wrong color for my skin. I don't like pressed powders & I always end up breaking them into a million pieces. PLEASE, I AM BEGGING YOU, PLEASE BRING NW20 BACK!! I ran out, went to buy a new one & they said its discontinued!! OMG! Now I'm scrambling trying to find a replacement. There isn't a single other product out there that is the right color for my skin! PLEASE MAC, BRING NW20 BACK!! PLEASE!!

If MAC is discontinuing this they're doing a disservice to all of us ladies who love a sheer matte finish with a decent amount of coverage. This powder is lightweight and magical. The price is great as well. Please don't let this product RIP MAC!!

I use this product in NC15 to set my Pro Longwear liquid foundation (also shade NC15) with a large face brush (i.e. brush # 134). A little goes a long way and I rarely need to powder again through out the day and I have very oily skin (I also use primers under my foundation). I love that it just sets my liquid foundation without making my face look too matte or cakey but controls the shine for hours! I will continue to buy and use this product as long as MAC still makes it :)
I love this stuff! I will continue to buy more every time I run out. Please don't discontinue it! i don't like pressed powders at all. This keeps my skin matte throughout the entire day. In the afternoon it's a little bit dewy but that's fine. I love this stuff.

I too love this powder. It goes on well and lasts all day once applied. I had to search to get colors right and for 5 years I have been great with my MAC. I have to search Dept stores for this powder now and have been told it may be discontinued. I truly hope not, its great.

I've been using this powder foundation for over 10 years and LOVE IT. It make my face look flawless. Its the ONLY powder that don't get chunky or cakey, doesn't settle into the lines on my face. After application it leaves a matte but a natural finish that doesn't look like your wearing tons of make-up, even if you are.... I've been in multiple weddings (indoor and outdoor)... applying my makeup with this powder, creates beautiful pictures, my skin looks perfect!! It hides my horrible oily skin and makes my foundation last forever. During a long wedding day (7 am to 2 am) I only a have to touch-up once or twice throughout the day and I'm golden. I've tried MAC's other powders and I keep going back to this one because of it fine-milled quality and it s beautiful finish. There is NOTHING like this one...

Please bring back the NC colors! Also, I had heard that MAC may be discontinuing the sheer/loose face powder in favor of a packed powder. Please keep the sheer/loose product.

I am very disappointed at the decision to discontinue this color line as well. I have been a loyal MAC user for years and regularly order online. Would have been nice to have some sort of a heads up at the very least. I am completly out and at a loss for a substitite. Not happy.

Bring Back the NW color line
Date:August 17, 2011
Tags: Natural looking, flawless lightweight matte color
I too have been an NW20 user for years. Have tried the NC colors and they won't do for my skin tone - way too yellow. MAC did a huge diservice by discontinuing the NW line. Please bring it back so I don't have to change Make-up brands. I like all of my make-up to come from the same manufacturer so that they blend better than mixing brands.

Colors are all wrong

Sadly, I have had to search for another loose powder. I generally use NW20 or NW25 in the summer months but you have discontinued the entire NW color spectrum. I tested the NC colors and they are entirely too yellow for my skin tone. I have the NW colors in the pressed powder but it does not work the same. All of my products are from MAC and I have not looked at any other cosmetics line since I started using your products but now I have to shop around for new powder. I think this decision was not very well thought out and should be re-considered.

Another request to bring back NW20
Date:August 6, 2011
Tags: Natural looking
This product is a '5', but if I can't get my shade, then it can't get a '5' rating.
I completely agree with the previous reviewer. NW20 is the perfect shade for me and it was a perfect complement for the NW20 Studio Fix foundation. I also loved how I could wear it without foundation if I just wanted a little skin tone evening and I didn't have much time to do my make-up.
Please reconsider and bring back this shade! I love MAC products and really don't want to have to turn to another line of cosmetics to find a loose powder that I like.

I use this everyday to set my foundation. Don't be fooled by the skintone, it's completely sheer and invisible. It doesn't quite matte the skin, but leaves it with a very natural finish.

I LOVE this product! I HATE that they got rid of the shade NW20!! I have no idea why they would get rid of this color?!!? It's one of the worst decisions they ever made! No other powder (even in the compact) compares to NW20 in the loose! I've been trying other powders etc to replace it, but nothing its doing the trick like NW20 does! PLEASE BRING THIS SHADE BACK!!! :(
