Nice Foundation

I was using the Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation but found it was way too powdery of a finish for me. I am 46 years old with combination skin and do have some minor lines and large pores. Anyway, I tried this foundation today using a sponge and found it provides very nice coverage. It looks very natural although my nose it looks a little shiny. I may just have to buy some powder for my nose, but other than that, I think I really like this makeup. As far as I can tell I wouid purchase this again. I also think the sponge does a terrific job of blending the makeup on your skin, it does take a while to blend.

i loooove this makeup! the first time i tried it on and my skin broke out all over. so i tried it on the next day and it didnt break out at all. i have really dry skin but this makeup moisturizes my skin and leaves it feeling super soft. this makeup is good for at LEAST 10 hours. i love it sooo much!! thanks MAC!

great foundation!

I've been using Studio Fix fluid for many years but I wanted to try something different and something not as heavy. Although Studio Sculpt is a little thick is does keep your skin moisturized because I have very dry skin sometimes even with the mositurizer underneath. The coverage is perfect and it leaves you with an airbrush finish look. Since the consistency is thick, it does take practice applying but once its done correctly, you will be impressed!

Not for dry skin

I have normal to dry skin and this foundation did not work for me. It looked great when I applied it but quickly wore of. It gathered around my nose and in larger pores while highlighting dry areas. Tried it with primer and powder but got the same result.

BEST foundation ever!

i am in LOVE with this foundation! i was getting sick of drug store foundations not being ablue to cover my acne and redness without being cakey and looking so un natural! i went to the mac store and tested this out and i'v been using it for a while and i'm NEVER switching back to drugstore foundations. i have oily skin and this keeps my skin hydrated while controling the oil at the same time. its absolutly perfect.

amazing foundation

this is a great FULL coverage foundation. it took me a while to find out the best way to use it. i use it with my mac 187 which works the best. but if you put to much on our forehead, it with cake up and make your "worry lines" noticeable. it also isnt really long lasting, id say it lasts up to 4-5 hours. i have dry skin so this is very moistening and i love it. overall, for me, this is an amazing foundation (:

This foundation was recommended to me through live chat, I was somewhat reluctant to buy it because I've never used this foundation before. With that being said, this foundation is fantastic ( if applied right ) I will never be without it. First off this foundation is thicker than I'm used to. It took me a few different ways of applying this to get the best application technique. I tried sponges, a foundation brush, my fingers, a stippling brush and a larger dense brush. The best application came from the larger dense brush. This foundation is thicker and really needs to be buffed into the skin. So fingers and other brushes aren't able to do that like a dense brush. Because this foundation needs to be buffed into the skin it does take a bit longer to apply than other foundations but if it's applied right the extra few minutes is more than worth it. In my opinion this foundation covers extremely well, and my skin is far from perfect. I currently have some mild acne and some scars from acne. When this is applied with a dense brush it doesn't even look like you're wearing makeup ( on me anyway ) Love, love, love this foundation!

I've used this product for a couple of years now and i cant go a day without it! It is buildable, moisturizing, and last all day. It is a bit oily but it does help with spreading. A little goes a long way all you have to do is build over any acne of spots you may have.

I would not recommend at all!

I tried this foundation bc i wanted to try a new one. I usually wear studio fix fluid and im pleased with that one.I bought this without sampling it bc of the reviews.I really thought I would like this.Not at all!
First of all the foundation goes on well but after like 10 min it looks oily and I do not have oily skin.im more dry so for it to make me look oily was horrible I even set it with a nice mineralize skin finish powder from mac that I love..by the end of the day my skin looked oily and just not good. I gave it another day it did the same thing. I went back and got matchmaster mac foundation I ABSOLUTELY love it more than fix fluid! I Would sample this first if ur thinking about it..BUT i love Matchmaster its my holy grail foundation now!

I can't tell you how many foundations I have tried, but I thank my lucky stars that I finally came across Mac's Studio Sculpt! I have somewhat dry, sensitive skin, which needs exfoliating from time to time. Most foundations made my skin feel and appear dry and 'peely' looking, even when it was applied on top of a moisturizer or primer, or both, and other foundations were too 'wet' looking/feeling and made me break out! But I tell ya, I can't get over how my skin looks with this particular foundation. Hallelujah!! I was just about to give up my search when I came across this at the Mac Counter at Macy's. My skin feels smooth and fabulous...no tightness, no sensitivity, no breakouts, and most of all, no "I'm melting!" kind of feel!! Thank you Mac!!

Amazing Product! Flawless Coverage!

I am in love with this product. I had been looking for a new foundation for quite some time, and I decided to go with the Studio Sculpt after reading many reviews. I wanted a product that provided full coverage. When using this foundation, my skin is smooth, hydrated, and is absolutely flawless! You only need to use a small amount because of the consistancy of the cream foundation - which is why this foundation lasts longer than many other liquid foundations I have tried. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for full coverage and a beautiful flawless complexion!

I love the packaging- and the coverage. This looks lovely after it's worn for a little bit. I just don't like how it seemed to match my skintone for a couple days, but in natural sun-light it has an orange tone and my face doesn't match my neck at all.

Dance Recital territory

I got this foundation with high hopes, but when I tried it, I was hugely let down. It got cakey after a few hours and looked really unnatural. I felt like I was going to a dance recital, and my boyfriend said I looked like I was going in to a casket! At the end of the day, I just felt gross and sticky. This foundation was too unnatural for me. I used it for 3 days, and I have to return it. I would have given it less than one star, but I had to choose one. :(

Always on hand...

This was the first foundation that I ever bought from MAC. I loved that it was full coverage because at the time my skin was not it's best. That was a few years ago and though I have come to love other MAC foundations and do use others, I will always love this one. It definitely will cover any blemish you have. It's also very buildable. As time passed I learned how to use the full coverage of this foundation to my advantage. My skin has completely cleared, but I can still use this foundation daily even with it being full coverage and not worry about clogging my skin. I only have to use the smallest amount and my tube lasts me forever! Anyway, I feel like it's more of a bargain to buy this foundation and use smaller amounts or dilute it, than it is to buy a foundation with sheerer coverage and spend more time and product trying to build it up! You also don't need a concealer with this product, so if you want to save a bit of moolah, then this would work perfectly on it's own! This foundation is a gem!

Easy to work with...

once skin has been moisturized. For a dewy look I leave the foundation alone on my face but will apply the studio fix powder for an even more full coverage look that has a matte finish. I have used this foundation on clients with oily skin but tell them to use with caution as a skin break out might occur so I stress alot about cleansing the skin as well.

I love this foundation, it can be a bit scary when you see the consistency since its really creamy but this foundation WILL COVER ANYTHING from dark circles to acne scars no more concealer for me ever since i started using it.
