Great foundation
Tags +Creamy, Long wearing, Color true
this is the first foundation I can really depend on. I have tried so many other brands with no luck of shade matching or lasting. I use this in shade nw15 and it works all year round for me. I try not to purposely tan. I also pair it with either the mineral finishing powder in light plus or the pro long wear full coverage powder in nw20 in the summer when I get a slight tan.i feel this has a natural finish for me I do I have normal to dry skin. FYI Always exfoliate and use a good moisturizer for a great foundation finish.

A co-worker told me about this foundation after i told her i had combination skin, dry in winter while more oily in the summer. At first this product didn't impress me, the lady matched me WAY too light. So i went back and got matched again. This time she gave me NW15 which matches perfectly! I changed my face moisterizer to a thick "night time" one since my face is on the drier side still. It works amazing! I can finally wear primer as well as the foundation without looking cakey and clumpy. I don't use powder since it looks matte on my skin. I like it! But wouldn't recommend it if your skin is EXTREMELY dry.

Preferred MAC foundation
This is my go to foundation for good coverage. I went back to this, after using this last summer but I wore NC44 and it was a little too yellow. Now that I went up to NC45, it's perfect and gives me an airbrush look. I use it with a stippling brush but I will go back to using a flat top kabuki, it give me the best coverage or my sponge. The only con is once trying to blend it can appear more yellow so blend properly!

Not for me.
Tags +Creamy, Color true
This was recommended for my extremely dry, eczema covered cheeks and forehead. It claims to be hydrating and it starts that way, but it slowly dries to a cakey mess. I've tried multiple application methods and mixtures and every time I use it, it clings to every dry patch, fine line, and pore. Go for literally any other foundation from any of the VIP lines.

Not what I had in mind........
Tags +Creamy
I wanted to love this foundation, but.....I just don't. I needed something full coverage and this is definitely that. But, it is so heavy on my skin and does not blend well. I have combo skin that leans a little toward the dry side and the lady at the counter assured me this would work. I have tried it with different primers, different setting powders and just nothing works. I can't return because I've had it too long so it will sit in my makeup bag untouched. I love you MAC but just not this foundation!!

Really nice, but....
Tags +Creamy, Long wearing
So I've been wearing this for over a year now, i really do love the formulation and it is pretty long wearing and does give me a skin like finish with a fair amount of coverage. But, I was previously using a foundation brush to put it on and found that it works much better for me with a sponge/beautyblender. This way i use less product and it looks not cakey. Also, I don't know why with mac the shades vary from formula to formula so, for this i have to mix 2 shades. Im usually an NC42, which is too yellow on its own so i mix this with NW 42 and its perfect.

The color matches perfect but after about a hour or two wearing it this foundation becomes very cakey and makes my skin look really dry. I use moisturizer and a primer and still the foundation does not sit well.

LOOK YOUNGER!
Tags +Creamy, Long wearing
I am in my late 30s and have very dry skin, so I think I look older than my age. However, this has totally changed that! I got compliments as soon as I started wearing it! LOVE this! :)

love! just a pinch too dark, great for older dry skin, and doesn't irritate my skin like most foundations.
any chance this can be made in a NC/NW 10?
please oh please

Not for me
Tags +Creamy, Hydrating, medium to full coverage, satin finish, Lightweight
PROS
- hydrating
- medium to full coverage
- satin finish
- easy to blend
- lightweight
- packaging
CONS
- settles into fine lines
- becomes blotchy throughout the day
- can look cakey
- clings slightly onto dry spots
- poor staying power
COMMENTS:This is a satin finish, medium to full coverage foundation. Don't expect this to control oil or stay on well because it's a more emollient formula, but surprisingly still clings to dry spots. It's lightweight, but always looks cakey after a short period of time. It just doesn't look smooth. It looks blotchy throughout the day and settles into fine lines and pores pretty quickly. It just doesn't make the skin look pretty. Also, keep in mind that the oils and pigment can separate. Make sure to shake the tube well prior to using.

a little disappointed
Tags +Color true
I love the consistency, texture and color but I had bumps on my face after using this. Im trying to figure out why... I'm thinking its the ingredient octinoxate? I got bumps too after using chanel and sonia kashuk foundations because of octinoxate. Well maybe next time I'll avoid that ingredient.

Beautiful finish
Tags +Creamy
I love the finish and the coverage is pretty good. It needs more shades though. NC 25 is too light and NC 30 too dark.

Disappointed But Still Interested.
Tags +Creamy
I loved the formula of this product, however I was extremely disappointed in how pale and sightly greenish- gray it looked on my face. I was matched NC50, too yellow and dark for my (neutral- yellow) skin tone. Long story short I returned this item.

LOVE THIS
Tags +Long wearing
By FAR my favorite foundation EVER. Not sure why there are complaints about turning orangey? Has never happened to me and I've been using this for several years.Maybe they are using the NC rather than the NW shades? And I've never had this separate coming out of the tube. The gel formulation applies beautifully with perfect coverage. My go to shade is NC25 and my skin is combo to dry in our cold winters.
