After just one use of this product, I fell in love. It's lightweight and gives my skin a natural-looking, dewy finish. It's also very moisturizing, my skin drinks it up. For me it lasts all day and controls oil really well.

I really like this foundation as far as how it wears and how natural it looks. Studio Fix Fluid is my go-to foundation because I have oily skin, I definitely had to blot A LOT more when I wore the face and body even though I set it with a careblend powder. I think it would work better for someone less oily or in a less humid climate than Florida.

I think this is a great foundation for combination skin types. I dont need too much coverage and this foundation is perfect for my needs.. It's very light weight, looks natural and dewy. You get a lot of products for the price, I think it will last forever. I was helped by the live chat on this site for color match and ut matches great! Thank you! ^^

this gave me sheer natural coverage. it is def buildable, just takes me a little longer if i want fuller coverage. the color was a perfect match for me! i use c5 and have an olive complexion.

I have normal to dry skin and love this foundation. It covers without looking heavy and it stays on. Only negative is the range of shades. N1 just isn't light enough for my skin in winter.

I can't believe I never tried this before. I am blessed with good skin and don't really like thick or cakey foundations! I like to decide when I want a light, medium, or heavier coverage. And this foundation does ALL three for me. It is so buildable. It photographs like a dream, no white cast no cakey-ness. Looks like a second skin. I can't express how much I love this. I love that I can transition and adjust this foundation through every season and tailor the coverage to my personal needs!

MAC face and body is wonderful...with a light hand your skin can look flawless and dewy....it can also be built up to a full coverage which is great....but overall even with my acne/oily prone skin it works beautifully just smooth on with a stippling brush and dust with powder and you're good to go

I have very sensitive skin on my face and get a terrible rash when out in the sun. I tried every foundation out there and everything burned on my skin. This is the only foundation I could find that would work. It looks and feels great! And I have had so many compliments about how pretty my skin is!

Let's start things off by saying I am a bit of a makeup addict. I collect all sorts of makeup from higher end brands. Actually, I probably won't live long enough to use all the makeup I have collected. I am always looking for the next best thing. Foundation has always been a bit of a challenge for me. I have tried every medium....cream to powder, powder, mineral, bb cream, full coverage, cream, and tinted moisturizer. My most fav UNTIL THIS...was the power of the multiple BB creams I had purchased. Then I started researching this...MAC is my all time favorite high end brand. I put face & body on this morning after using Mac's prep & prime and I am in love!!!!!!
What I was looking for: At 36 I am starting to get fine lines that were being exaggerated by medium/full coverage foundation. Ew. My skin is clear, with minor discoloration & red spots. So I just wanted a foundation to even out my skin and help me look fresh. I like a moist looking finish....I feel matte ages you and cakes. This IS WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR ALLLLLLLLLLLL ALONG!
What I did: Moisturized, prep & prime, dotted face & body all over face, stippled / spread it with sephora brand "airbrush" brush, dusted face with prep & prime HD powder. It looks like my skin....perfected. I don't look like I have foundation on. Best selling feature for me; my co-worker asked if I had microdermabrasion done this weekend (it's Tuesday).
Hope this review helps you decide how the reviews did for me. If looking for full coverage, I don't think this is for you....although it is buildable.

Excellent Coverage, Flawless Finish

I don't love foundation. I'd rather not have to use it at all. But I do "have to" use it, and I prefer medium to full coverage when I do.
This foundation is WONDERFUL. It offers clean, airburshed, buildable coverage. I disagree that it is not for someone who wants more coverage - because the texture is so light, you can build this foundation to an extremely full coverage. You don't have to cake it on either - as it dries, the foundation seems to gain more body and with that, comes more coverage. I usually apply two thin layers and then let them dry. Generally this is enough for my 35+ skin. I usually also add concealer, but I need FAR less of that when I use F&B first. If I want super light coverage, I mix a pea sized bit with my Embryoliss and make a tinted moisturizer.
The finish is satin for me - dewy, without being shiny, full without being heavy. I haven't even tried it on my body yet, but I have no doubt that it would meet any requirements in that regard as well. My skin can get quite dry and a little flaky, and even though I'm not as diligent about that problem as I mean to be, MAC F&B never gives me away - it goes on smoothly, and dries down beautifully no matter how cracked and parched my skin might be. And while it doesn't take long to dry down, it dries down JUST slowly enough that it gives time to even, blend, and otherwise perfect so that the end result can be flawless.
I stipple and then buff it on. It really is a staple for me. My ONLY complaint is that such an amazing product should have FAR more color options. I am able to work with what is available to find mine (I'm either a C6, a C7 or a combo of the two depending on the season and how much sun I've gotten) but much to my chagrin I'm unable to recommend it to ALL of my friends, because there's only a good color match - even with mixing two separate colors! - for about 50% of my friends and advisees. :)
Overall, I love this foundation and will continue to use it as long as it continues to work for me. I think it's a makeup artists and a regular woman's dream alike. Awesome product.

This is the first MAC foundation I ever used and although I've tried most of the different formulas they have, I always seem to come back to this one. It is a pretty light-weight, natural looking foundation but you can build to a heavier coverage if you choose to. It's my every-day foundation and easy to apply, I just set it with powder and I'm good to go.

I count on this foundation every day to make my skin look like silk. It diminishes blotches and lines, yet it's virtually invisible. It looks like I'm not wearing foundation, but have perfect skin. I'm 46, and people often think I'm much younger, and I think it's because of the effect Face and Body Foundation has on my skin. I really appreciate the water-resistance, and the way this does not rub off on my little daughter when I carry her and snuggle her!

I just bought this item, only used it twice and I'm already very impressed.

This is a very light (watery) coverage. I have good skin, with no acne or blemishes so this is perfect for just evening out the skin tone and creating a nice glow.

I love two things about this product, the application and the texture & feel after it dries
When you first apply (I use my fingers) it’s very watery, but after a few seconds it literally sinks/melts into your skin- it becomes thicker & the coverage sets very quickly.
Once it’s dry it feels hydrating and comfortable, you can’t feel it at ALL! At this point you can leave it, set it with powder (I used studio fix powder to set one day which gave it more coverage and less shine) or apply another layer – which is something that you cannot do with most other foundations.

Covers my adult acne & scars while looking "fresh"

I've been using MAC Studio Sculpt for a while but I was curious about the Face & Body Foundation. I have adult acne & a few scars that I like to cover so I was skeptical about the "sheer" coverage, but I LOVE it. This foundation actually gives me some of my confidence back...it just makes me feel good about my skin. The formula is thin, so I just squirt a few drops on the back of my hand, work it into a 190 brush & apply it. On the areas where I need more coverage, I just let it set for a few minutes then apply another coat to the specific areas where I need it. My face looks fresh, dewy & natural. My face actually glows. It feels lightweight...it doesn't look or feel like I have makeup caked on my face. It's bad enough to have acne, but worse to have makeup caked on top of it. A bonus: once the foundation sets on your face, it won't rub off on your shirt, which is awesome. The bottle size is nice, but make sure you shake it well before each use.

Great Foundation!

I have been on a hunt for the perfect foundation and had picked Face & Body up about a year ago but since then have been buying lots of different foundations and I keep finding myself going back to Face & Body. This foundation is perfect for those who have pretty good skin and just want to even out their skin tone. It doesn't provide a lot of coverage but if you're looking for light coverage then it's perfect! I apply it with a Sigma F80 Flat Top Kabuki brush and then I set it with a setting powder and it gives me flawless, beautiful, skin! I'm am not the kind of person to write reviews but I felt compelled to write a review about this product!

I bought this product because I wanted to try it to see what the hype was about. I must say that I completely agree that this product is the bomb.com!! It gives my skin a nice glow, and dewy finish, it has a nice sheer coverage that is also buildable and the fact that I have dry skin and this product Is water based makes the combination even better. I set it with my mineral skin finish. It's hard for me to find a shade to match my skin tone being so dark, but N9 blends great with my complexion! Please MAC don't ever discontinue this product, I am forever in love!!!!!!!!
