Good natural foundation

Out of all the MAC foundations I have tried, this is by far my favorite foundation when I want to go for outdoor activities, look better but at the same time like I did not apply any make up on my face.
It is dewy finish, light coverage yet natural. It works well with strobe cream, or mineralize lotion as primer. This is a good choice if you want something light/sheer but natural.
I am glad to see smaller size, but the price differ by $6...so I would rather pay $6 more to get 2X of the volume.
And also there is issue of 'separation' over the time, it may become slight oily. I wish it has sunscreen protection too, then it will be my perfect 'outdoor' foundation.

If you have good skin with one or two blemishes, this foundation is perfect. It is definitely light weight and natural, however it did nada for my blemishes. which by the way does not make it a bad product at all, just wrong timing on my part. When my skin is behaving a little better, I will give this a go ,because generally I like light coverage.

I do not like this foundation at all. It looks like my own skin but with a bit of oil on it. It does nothing for me. It doesn't even even out my skin tone. It does not give a fresh look at all.

Having dry skin and rosacea make it hard for me to find a foundation that both evens out my redness and doesn't accentuate dry patches. I have a medium skintone and purchased this in C3. I sometimes mix this in with a tinted moisturizer or bb cream if i need extra coverage, and it works wonders. If you have oily skin, this probably isn't the greatest pick for you as it has a very dewy finish. I do set it with msf natural in medium plus, and it looks fantastic. It's long wearing, but not heavy. Love this foundation. A+

This foundation is not for oily skin at all! It will actually make you look oilier. It is lovely on those with dry skin, though.

I've gone through so many foundations (including most that Mac makes) I can't even number them, and after ordering this I have FINALLY found a keeper. I wanted something that looked natural, and with my very dry skin wouldn't flake and look patchy. This is it. I was matched to C1 by the lady at the Mac counter, but since I wanted to order the big bottle I came online to buy it. Unfortunately this large size doesn't come in C1 (not sure why!?) and I ended up going up a shade to C2...well let me tell you this foundation is so forgiving it still looks like a perfect match once evenly applied and blended. Not sure how they've done it, but this foundation is moisturizing, non-greasy, leaves you with a slightly dewy finish, and looks incredibly natural. I feel like I'm not wearing foundation with this on, which is a very important thing for me. I can't say enough how great this product is!

This foundation on its own does not offer much coverage and looks very natural on the skin. That's great if you can get by with that light coverage but not all of us are blessed with flawless skin. However, I have found the absolute best use for this foundation is when it is mixed with Studio Fix Fluid. If you have used studio fix fluid in the past and found the coverage to be too full on and lean towards being too matte I highly suggest sheering it down with Face and Body. This also goes a long way to make the foundation look more like natural "no-makeup" skin. Also, if you are the kind of person who find that you are somewhat in between the NW and NC undertone spectrum you can mix the opposite undertone of your studio fix with face and body to achieve a more neutral undertone. Example: If you have NW20 in studio fix and find it is still slightly too cool toned for your taste try mixing it with C2 in Face and Body. The reason why this foundation works so well to sheer down other liquids is because it has a film former that doesn't cut down on the wear time of the foundation. I know many people who mix their regular liquid foundation with a moisturizer to sheer it down but they often find that this cuts down on the wear time and makes the foundation transfer very easily. Not to mention that the moisturizer method tends to work better on people with more normal to dry skin, on oilier skinned people it can tend to separate slightly throughout the day and start to look somewhat blotchy. With the Face and Body method I have found that it works well on every skin type from the most dry to very oily.

I've used this product for 4-5 years and it never disappoints me. Is use both, when I don't want to wear much make-up, I put this right after my day cream and nothing else. Also I use this under my "mineralize skinfinish natural" powder when I want more make up.
It is not too oily for my and I find my skin glowing and natural when I use it.

Mac face and body i discovered when i was looking at what foundation they used for pretty little liars, and i found a picture that one of the stars posted entitled "filming day!" and it showed all of the makeup products, so i decided to give mac face and body a chance! gives very good coverage, and covers redness stays on all day long like 15 hours, but it loses some coverage after about 7.
Is semi waterproof.Is very buildable, long wearing, and oil controlling. Finish with powder because the foundation makes your skin appear very shiny!!!

This was the first product I bought since I have been using MAC..and I am still using it! It's build-able, long-lasting, and it looks natural! The best thing about this foundation is that it last you a long time in this size, for me about 4-6 months. It also looks beautiful under the Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation.

My best friend introduced me to this product a few years ago as we were planning a trip to the Caribbean. I was skeptical at first as I wasn’t sure if I’d look good with a lighter coverage, but I knew I couldn’t do a week no makeup or have the normal makeup meltdown leaving me looking like a hot sweaty mess resulting in clogged pores. WOW. This stuff has changed my life. It is a must have for any water activities, or any activities such as snowboarding where it’s not really cool to be wearing makeup. It is sweat proof, water proof, and goes on so sheer my boyfriend to this day doesn’t know I’m wearing foundation when I have it on. It layers well over sunscreen or moisturizer, and doesn’t clog my pores or sit in my fine lines. Although it is sheer it provides enough coverage to even out my skin tone, and cover any redness or little veins. It also layers nicely. I give this product an A+. In addition to being long lasting on your face, the bottle lasts a long time too. Good investment indeed.

I recently had my make-up done at my local MAC counter for my engagement photo shoot and this was what they used on for me for foundation. I'm not usually a big fan of liquid foundation because I don't like the way it can feel "heavy" on your face. I like to feel like I'm not wearing anything so I usually will only use a powder. But after trying this, I was sold! It hardly feels like you're wearing anything, it lasted through my whole shoot and then some, and made my skin glow and feel really fresh and moisturized! I still use a bit of the Studio Fix Powder I normally use after applying Face and Body for just a little bit more coverage, but it's amazing! Now I can't imagine NOT using it.

I LOVE IT! Every time I use this foundation I get complements about how nice my skin looks and how it appears like I'm not wearing any foundation. It does have a dewy look to it and feels a little weird, like you just put lotion on while your face was still slightly wet from washing it. But once I apply my mineralized skin finish it looks and feels great. I don't think I'll be going back to any other foundation.

I recently bought this to use for my upcoming wedding, in place of the heavier Matchmaster (which I wear on a daily basis). I wanted something a little lighter that photographed well. I have to say at first I was not impressed with this foundation. As someone prone to dark spots, I didn't think this makeup was going to provide the coverage I needed to look as flawless as possible. I also thought that the finish was too dewy (as in, you-look-like-you-need-a-shower dewy). Once I applied a few layers and switched my application method from sponge to brush, and applied a finishing powder, I was pleasantly surprised. If you don't build up the coverage this really won't do anything for you. I'm glad I stuck with it, I was ready to return it at first.

This product by MAC does it all. You can wear it sheer, or you can build it up for more coverage. The best thing about this foundation is that it is water based. It goes on smooth and dries very quickly so it's easy to add more and build coverage. It lasts all day especially when set with the Mineralize Skinfinish. Also, being water based makes it perfect for all skin types. The bonus is how much you get for your dollar. It is going to take a long time to go through this. I am a freelance makeup artist and this is something I will use on clients and models. Superb foundation! If I could only buy one MAC product, this would be it.

Seriously, I wish I had known about this before. Instead of repeatedly buying a new tube of foundation every month I've been using this for the passed month and I've barely used a quarter of it. Great purchase, and super reasonable compared to the other foundations. I like that it's sheer, I have good skin so I really don't need a lot of coverage and it evens out my skin tone nicely. I would definitely recommend if you don't want to spend oodles of money on foundation and have quality foundation.

I normally use Mac's other foundations for a full coverage and to even out my skin tone. But I decided to try this bc i see it a lot on youtube and i really like it. Although this is not for someone who is looking for coverage, this is just to even out your skin tone. i used with some Mac setting powder and it was nice and light especially on hot summer days. It almost reminds me of a tinted moisturizer type thing. I will purchase this again.

Just received my first MAC order which included the face and body foundation. My initial reaction is that this is a great foundation . I applied two layers of foundation and set it with MAC Mineralize Powder. My skin looked flawless and the makeup lasted all day. Best of all I didn't feel like I was wearing foundation.
