I have three pigments. Blue-Brown (my favorite), Fuchsia, and Olive Green. All are wonderful and stay pretty well. Although a primer is definitely recommended. These can be used solo or over another color. Applying the pigments over a matte black eye shadow changes the colors entirely for a dramatic look. Blue-Brown is gorgeous with this combo. They can get messy, so use tissues or papers to catch any excess. They can also be used to make glosses when mixed with clear gloss or eyeliners when used wet.
So many possibilities when using MAC pigments. mix in with some Matte/shine mediums to create some bases for eyes, lips, cheeks... A little goes a long way/ Highly pigmented.
I have say i just love ALL my pigments that arrived 2 days ago :) I got lil excited since this was 1st time using pigments and went a lil overboard and got bout every color but now that they have arrived and ive seen everything i can use them for i have NO regret forking that much money out for a TOP OF THE LINE pigment :) Thank You so much Mac for making some of the BEST product out there. I also bought several of the dazzleglasses :) which are just beautiful when used. Im 23 and becoming a good makeup artist is something i dream about and with MAC there is no doubt i will become a great MAC makeup artist ;) ;)
I ordered 3 pigments and was so pleasantly surprised by the richness and boldness of the colors. It applied so easily and there was very little fallout. I am very pleased with this product and will be ordering more and recommending this product to all my clients as well.
My friend gave me a small container with this pigment in Melon, and I FELL IN LOVE! OMG OMG OMG YOU HAVE TO GET THIS RIGHT NOW! After I finished with her sample, I purchased my own. I use it for an everyday look and I love it! It doesn't look like a natural everyday look in the jar but when I lightly apply it on my eyes, and then apply a chocolaty brown eyeshadow on my crease, it looks AMAZING! It also lasts from morning to night!
EXTREMELY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!

I ordered the Silver pigment, I like how easy it is to apply and a little goes really far. It is a very beautiful silver and I will be purchasing more in the future. Also, it wasn't crease resistant.
I bought a set of these pigments in basic colors last year after I couldn't find really good base halloween pigments. Once I got them I realized their amazing flexibility. If you are good with color mixing, using a basic set of 4-5 pigments, you can create virtually any shade of makeup you want with very small amounts of pigment. I love this because I often end up not using makeup because I tire of the color, or because it goes out of style, and it ends up going to waste. Using these pigments I mix small batches of the shade I want using a MAC mixing medium and palette knife, and store in small round makeup containers you can buy online. So far I have made lipstick, cheek color, eye tints...all manner of all over color.
I definitely recommend setting mixed products with a primer.
Absolutely the very best makeup purchase I have ever made.

Tan and Melon

These pigments are the bomb. The tan is my absolute favorite. It is a pretty bronzish pink color with a lot of shine. It is so so pretty! The melon ends up looking more like a yellowish orange on my eyes, but I still love it. They blend well and I will purchase more pigments soon.
While I love the pressed eyeshadows, there's no comparison to the color payoff you get from the MAC pigments. You can use them to create a thin, irredescent layer of color as well build up to the color to a high intensity. You can use this product alone or with a mixing medium to increase the intensity and the length of wear (ie. create a water-resistent effect).

Perfect Pop of Color

I love that the pigment comes in a jar that seals closed so it is doesn't spill. Also, a little goes a long way, I love that it provides just enough pop, but can be layered if needed. Will be buying MANY more colors.

Beautiful!

I've had Naked pigment for 8 or 9 months. I really like it. It's beautiful for a highlight on the brow bone or cheek bones. I also use it on the lid or all over my eyes when i feel lazy. I think you must use this product with a cream shadow or paint/paint pot on the lids to get it to stay! It will crease on my lids with out a primer.
Oh, where do I begin on this fabulous creation? I am usually a bargain shopper but when it comes to my makeup....especially my eyes...I HAVE to have the BEST and this is the BEST of the BEST! As long as a good primer is applied, it lasts all day. I will admit I even slept in it after a party and the next morning it was still as good as new, lol. The awesome part is you only have to use a very small amount...a little goes a long way so it will last and last. Be sure to purchase the eye shadow brush MAC has to offer. It is easily blendable...very, very HIGHLY pigmented (more than any eye shadow I have EVER owned), and has a bold color. It can be worn for everyday use even at the office.
I haven't tried it yet because I have this color in dark soul only but recently ordered the fuschia but I know you can try this in other areas (cheeks, nail polish, hair, lips etc). So beautiful. I can't say enough good things about this. I LOVE IT!!!!
I used this without a eyelid primer and it stayed all day without creasing, on a humid day. I bought the brown pigment which reflects blue-green. If I blend it out with a crease brush it becomes a reddish brown which isn't very flattering, so I pat it on with a eye shadow brush to get the reflective effect.
The only bad thing about the pigment is the packaging it comes in. I wish it would be like those loose eye shadow packages where there would be holes for the powder to come through. Plus the cap doesn't screw on well. The first time I used it, I took off the inner cap and used the powder left on it. When I couldn't finish using it, I picked up the bottle by the cap (it was inside my small make up drawer) and the cap fell off and it spilled :( I managed to salvage most of it though. Maybe it was my bad because I wasn't used to the cap being that hard to angle and screw on. :(
Also, a little goes a long way. I probably wouldn't be able to finish it even if I used it every day for a year. :)

Love It !!!

My first experience with pigment and I have already ordered a second shade. Love the glow it gives my face. Just right brightness and glow. Use it everyday and don't know how I managed without it. I have gotten more compliments since I have begun to use it.
I only have 5 of these, but they're incredible. They have so many uses, and I really love a versatile product! They make amazing eye shadows, or custom eye liner with a mixing medium (or even just patted on top of some Glitter Glue from another cosmetic company). You can create your own nail polishes or lip glosses; some shades make excellent cheekbone highlighters. You can mix a little into some hand cream, and sparkle up your shoulders and decolletage! It's as if the options never end! Even better: the duochromes change color if you apply them over dark bases. Blue Brown turns green on top of a black base, and Frozen White turns blue! I'm sad they decreased the size significantly and raised the price, but I'm still going to buy more because the product is simply that amazing, and even the smaller jars will last forever. DO NOT THROW OUT THE PLASTIC LID UNDER THE SCREW CAP!! You can use that to mix the pigment with gloss or other mediums, or simply use it to get the pigment on your brush. I only wish there were more of these--at least there is a rather nice selection in the Pro collection. If you're not a Pro, Google those colors because you can call any Pro store and order those, too!
