I'm in LOVE with Carbon-I like dark colors, and it's really long-lasting and smooth. I've never had any eyeshadow like that.

The Perfect Eye Shadow

Sumptuous Olive is my fave eye shadow and staple in my collection. It's perfect for highlighting and adding that metallic glint to your makeup. It is not quite gold, so it's just right.

I got blackberry, haux, all that glitters, green smoke, brule, bisque, naked lunch, satin taupe and shroom. Blackberry....wow....looks fabulous as a crease color and makes my olive green eyes stand out! I love all the colors but Blackberry, All that Glitters, Green Smoke, Haux and Naked Lunch are just fabulous colors!

So far i have bought 7 of the mac eye shadows I've only used mac eyeshadow for a short amount of time and they are my overall fave. they stay on all day but one thing i don't like about mac eyeshadow is that the color are usually a little lighter then what they are online.But overall they are the best eyeshadows ever!!!<333

Stays on and worth the price!

I have always been a buyer of cheap drug store cosmetics until I started coming to the MAC counter to get the pro longwear lipstick and for years that was the only thing I bought from them. One day, however, a certain shade of eyeshadow caught my eye and I bought it. (though that voice in my head was going $15!?!? seriously?!?!)
Well, I took it home and started wearing it and I noticed from the first time that it didn't fade the way my other ones always do. Later when the summer time came and I was working in a hot room and sweating I noticed that the eyeshadow still looked like I just put it on at the end of the day. When put on over the paint pots as a base you can actually have sweat or water roll down your eyelid and take a dry towel or tissue and just blot it dry real quick and IT STILL LOOKS GOOD!!
I gradually started replacing all my drugstore eyeshadows with these from MAC. One day I was swatching them all on the back of my hand and then I had to go off and do dishes... after submerging my hands completely in warm water the eyeshadows were still on the back of my hand!! I had to put soap directly on them and rub a little before they came off - but this impressed me enough that now I don't think anything of paying $15 for these guys.

I ordered carbon (which truly is an amazing staple color) 2 days ago and received it this morning. I was so excited to open my mac package as i usually am. But when I picked up my new black eye shadow I heard a rattle and instantly thought, oh no... its broken. and when i opened it, it revealed a pan on top of the other! It absolutely made my week! Thanks MAC <3

I absolutely love MAC products. Their eyeshadows are amazing. I have just about each and every single one. :) They glide on, are highly pigmented and well worth the money. I love MAC! Also, if you experience any creasing just prime your lid with some primer and you will be good to go. I have oily skin but my shadows dont crease at all.

Not the best MAC product

I've been a MAC user for so many years and honestly, when you buy a MAC product you usually get a great product. I can't say that I love their pressed eye shadows anymore though since I've been exploring other brands.
Primarily, shadows like CARBON, PRINT and MISS PIGGY have all let me down recently with their overly "talcy" formula.
Sorry, not a fan anymore of these.

Because after trying this eyeshadow, I do! Wonderful pigmentation? Check. Fabulous array of colors and formulas? Check. Creamy, easy application? CHECK. This eyeshadow is just great. If you haven't, I urge you to try it. The only reason I give it four stars instead of five is due to the fact that you don't get THAT much product for the price. You could get a whole BH Cosmetics palette for the cost of one of these pots. It's okay, though. They're still WONDERFUL eyeshadows, and there's a large and plentiful selection of highly pigmented colors to choose from. Thank you, MAC. Keep doing what you're doing! ;)

I was tired of always wearing my Spice, Bamboo or Cork colored eye shadows and was in the market for more of like a natural looking mauve color. Not a pink or purple but a mesh of the two in a softer tone. I went to my local Dillard's and the sales associate there immediately came over. I kinda would have liked to just stand there a couple of minutes and look them over but can't complain about the fast service :). I honed in on the Girlie color and tried it on my hand. I wasn't really sure because of the strange (fluorescent?) lighting. The associate kept pushing all these wild colors at me. That type of thing might work on the younger gals but for my 43 year old self, not so much. At one point, I grabbed Girlie again and said "I must like this color because I picked it again". Again the sales associate started showing me different colors. I finally told her "I like more of a natural look. If I could get away with no makeup at all, I would." She responded back with, "Yeah, then you'd probably like Girlie". I'm so glad that I didn't waver. I used it today and it's beautiful. I'm guessing it wasn't her favorite but I love it and I'm so glad I got it!

I bought my first MAC eyeshadow (Red Brick) a couple days ago and I'm in LOVE. The pigment is amazing, it blends well, its basically perfection. It will last forever, just because the smallest amount holds the most color. So worth the money :D

I have Phloof!, All that glitters, and a palette I received for Christmas last year. I've had the palette for almost a year and I still have plenty of eyeshadow left. Long lasting and absolutely beautiful. I do use with an eyeshadow primer, but even without it the colors are highly pigmented and beautiful. No complaints.

Glamrous eyes that lasts all day!

This by far out weighs the other eye shadows I've tried. Trust me when I say this...one of my best friends and I are makeup critics and we've pretty much tried them all. This doesn't fade and you can easily build the shade deeper without looking cakey. Most highly pigmented shadows will crease by middle of the day...this doesn't!!! Another incentive is that it is available in almost any color and finish, from matte colors to highly sheen ones. I use the paint pot under my shadow as a base. The paint pot I found is better as a base than the cream eye shadow base. It helps to keep the shadow in place, makes the color more intense, and doesn't allow creasing or the "cakey" look from blending multiple layers.
This eye shadow easily washes off, yet stays all day without needing touch ups. It is very affordable and a best buy in my report. Once you try it you won't ever use another brand other than MAC for your eye shadows. A+ in my book.

Don't be fooled by the color you see in the sample on line. I can't describe how beautifully NOT pink this shade is. It's a great partner to Sketch as it's a dirty, slightly irredescent shade that looks fantastic with blue eyes.
