I tried this eye liner and i like the way it easily defines a sharp line but i dont like how you have to dip the brush, extra liquid is on the stem and when i do my top eye lids it rubs onto my eye lashes and creates little clumps its a small complain for such a good product but also very annoying for me if you have long lashes i would not recommend this product, i feel MAC has some better eye liner products.

Let me say that the only REALLY good thing about this product is the bold color. This product smudges, is not waterproof, and is NOT long wearing.
I was so excited on buying my first MAC liquid liner. I always used the MAC technakohl pencil eye liner and that worked fine, but I wanted more of a bold/darker look. I was quite disappointed the first day I wore it. I used it throughout the day and saw that it has kind of faded. The next day I made sure to cover the line as much as possible, but it still faded. Oh and it does smudge if you rub your eyes. For the first 3-4 hours it would look great! After that, the line would slowly fade with each hour that passes by.
Overall it is OKAY. I just wished it lasted longer. On the brighter side, it is easily washed out!

After applying this eyeliner, I was so pleased to notice that it dried immediately and I did not have to touch up my eyeshadow because of the typical smears you get with eyeliner touching your lids.

I have tried many I mean many different liquid liners!! I was a bit skeptical to try this with the review rating so low but I figured "Why not" cant be to bad.... Have to say I love this liquid liner!! I love the stiff brush with a perfect point stays nicely not waterproof (which is fine by me because I never make a perfect line and always have to correct with a q-tip LOL) Has a good handle not to long not to short... Just a good solid precise bold liquid liner!! Definitely a keeper liquid liner for me....

I love this liquid eye liner but its definitely not waterproof. I am not a professional so I kinda of like the idea that if I mess up I can take a damp napkin wipe off the mistake and still be able to fix my eyeliner. It's great for doing those cat eyes. Very bold in color but I do find myself applying a couple coats to get an even look. It does last a long time of course if you don't get them wet.

I use this liquid liner to add dramatic effect for a nighttime look. If you use a pencil liner first then go over the top with this liner; you don't have to worry about messing up. Liquid liner is often unforgiving when you make a mistake.

Based on all the positive reviews for this product, I decided to give it a try and already after the first few days I am disappointed.
The description claims that it is "smudge-resistant" yet that was the biggest problem; It begins to fade and smudge after several hours.
On the brightside, it does not chip off and the applicator is great.

I love this liquid eye liner i've been using this eyeliner for about 4 years now , you need to have steady hands in other to use it (to be precise) That's why it gets a four and you need to make sure you don't have too much on the applicator . I tried to switch to the penultimate eye liner but i switched right back to this one because the penultimate eye liner doesn't runs out quickly

Pros: Lines very smoothly. Bold, noticeable, and clean. Great for details. Long-wearing. Smudge-resistant *once dry*.
Cons: Easy to mess-up. Don't cry.
Overall, this is a great eyeliner! Yes it is easy to mess-up, but with a little practice this eyeliner will give you a bold, clean look. It's great for details, too, like cat-eyes. I like how fast it drys after applying it, and that it's smudge-resistant. It's definitely a long-wearing eyeliner because I've worn it from 6am, slept in it (don't sleep in it though), and woken up with it the same way it was the day before. What I don't like is that just a drop of water can ruin my eyeliner. Overall, this is a great eyeliner!

This liner and I have some problems. It smudges. It fades. The only good thing about this liner is that when you wash your face, it comes out super easy.

I bought this because I was in search for a good liquid liner. Went to a M.A.C. store and an associate suggested it to me. It's an ok liner and looks really good when i put it on and is easy to use. My only issue is it flakes off easy and smells odd. Still a good liner if you're in a hurry and only need to wear it for a short period of time. Has a great color to it.

I've used liquid eyeliners for quite a while now. Mostly from the drugstore, I was excited to get my first mac eyeliner, but it turned out to be the opposite of what I expected. Its easy to apply,but it smudges just as easy! I've had people tell me, "theres black stuff on your face" come to see I have eyeliner smeared all over my temple,just horrible. That never happened with my drugstore liner. Honestly disappointed, they should really work on it staying on! Otherwise, its great; bold, easily maneuvered...

I was super excited to purchase this liner. I've experimented with liquid liner before and love the penultimate eyeliner pencil, but can't say the same about this one. First off, I really dislike the applicator. At least for my eye shape, it doesn't give me a straight line and I always end up with splotches of black everywhere which is a pain in the butt, especially if you already did your eye makeup. Lol. I usually just dip my 209 in it, and that works better but I'm not satisfied with the staying power. I have to set it with powder, whereas my blacktrack and other liners can just stand alone all day with no problem. Wouldn't buy again.

I just turned 29 yrs old and I have NEVER EVER been able to apply liner with those pencils?? I found this maybe three yrs ago. I never wore makeup just the liner but could never apply it correctly. I was so amazed by how easy this was to use that I now wear makeup ! Foundation, lipsticks, eye shadows I love Mac products. Liquid liner is hard to apply but not this particular one , I love it!

THIS LINER IS VERY BOLD AND GOES ON GREAT... I LOVED HOW IT LOOKED WHEN I FIRST APPLIED IT, THEN ABOUT AN HOUR LATER IT WAS SMUDGED AND I HAD SMALL SPRINKLES OF BLACK ON MY FACE UNDER MY EYES. IT DID NOT LOOK GOOD SO I HAD TO REMOVE AND REDO MY EYES! ANNOYING!
