i bought pearl base color i used it as an eyeshadow base it made the colors pop out and before applying highlighter its looks so beautiful i recommend it
I remember hearing rumblings a couple of years ago that MAC was discontinuing Virgin Isle... Thank heavens that they didn't. It's my favourite cream blush by MAC and so perfect for Spring/Summer, especially if you're a coral fanatic. A little goes a loooong way, so don't over do it. I've yet to find a brush that I love to pair with it, but using my fingers has worked so far.

Lovely highlighter!

I originally purchased this to be used as a cream eyeshadow, after trying it multiple times over primer and seeing creasing I realized that that was not the purpose of this product. After research I discovered that this is an amazing cream highlighter and that is how I've been using it ever since. I usually just apply with my pointer and middle finger to the top of my cheekbones, my cupids bow, and I do strip down my nose with the shade 'Shell'. It lasts all day and gives a gorgeous glow
MAC did it right with the cream color bases. These bases are the best to achieve that soft yet naturally flushed glow to every complexion. "Virgin Isle" is the only one I own because it's matte and I love coral tones for my NW35 Indian skin. Don't be frightened by the color in the pot, a little goes a LONG way and it blends into the most gorgeous finish. Virgin Isle is a color that will virtually look good on almost every skin color. The only complaint I have is that this specific color is not available in any MAC PRO stores or MAC counters. It's only available online. Hope MAC never discontinues this product.
I have the Nude and OMG does it brighten up the top of my cheekbones like no other product I've ever used. I also have the bamboo, which is a nice base for eyeshadow but Nude is my all time favorite. Please Mac, don't ever stop making this color!

Nude Cream Colour Base

I have used the Nude shade for probably 10 years now. I love it. Your shadows stay put and the light color of the Nude helps the pigment in the shades pop. I suggest everyone buy at least one base because it really improves the eye shadows longevity. I work 12-13 hour shifts and the shadows never crease or smudge if I use the cream colour base first.

I love using these on my face! After my foundation I use Sepia to contour and Luna to highlight, it looks really natural and wears really well. Fun multi-purpose product!

Pearl- good highlighter

I'm Latina with a light-medium skin tone. I purchased the color Pearl & I've never had a creamy highlighter, but this product is pretty neat. I apply it with my fingers to the high part of my cheeks, right down my nose, my chin, and cupids bow (after I've applied my makeup, contour, & blush). I don't recommend for daily use, just when you're going out & want to have the really pretty glowy effect.

IMPROPER COPPER IS PROPER!!

For women of color and anyone else! I stress women of color because I am and I like to be of whatever help I can be. Often when I read reviews, I like to know what complexion the reviewer is because all make-up colors do not look good on all complexions. I am NW45. Anyhoo, Improper Copper is a GREAT product!! You really can not see the goldish undertones of this on the picture online or the swatch. It is absolutely gorgeous and it can be worn as a highlighter on the cheeks, bridge of nose, and forehead to give an all over, natural glow to your face! I use the #188 brush for this. I HIGHLY recommend it! I have found another product that MAC makes that I can not live without! LOL Now, I am going to order more colors!
I have been using Shell for as long as I can remember. I use it alone. I use is as a base/primer for eyeshadow. I use it for a little glimmer on my cheeks or lips. This is the best MAC product I have ever owned... And I have gone through a ton of MAC makeup.

A long time fan!

I cannot praise this product enough. So versatile. My favorite way to apply this is with my fingers but will go on just as great with a brush like the 109 or the 188. I always use this under my blush to keep my blush from fading throughout the day. Just a word to the wise these are very creamy and if you intend on using them around the eye area make sure to apply a good primer first because these will crease on you. The two I reach for the most are Hush and my new go to shade Pink Shock. These are my desert island must haves. If I could only choose one I would choose Hush then I pop the insert off of that one and depot Pink Shock, stick it under Hush and snap it back together. Simple as that.

This is a great cream base that can be used for everything. I use Pearl regularly as a highlighter under my eyes as well as the first coat on my eyelid before I put on any other eyecolors. The other colors on top of this pop and make a great night time look. I also put a dab of it on the tip of my nose and spread it up to highlight it as well. I definitely get my moneys worth out of this product and recommend it to everyone.

Bring Back Fabulush!

Tags: Bold Color, i use this to highlight and set lipstick
I couldn't believe it when I signed on to order another Fabulush and it isn't available! Yikes!!! What is a girl to do when she loses one of her main makeup essentials!!
I have a cream color base in SEASIDE and I am in love with it. It has a very creamy texture and is really easy to apply. Sometimes I just wear it plain and it looks like I put a lot off work into my makeup.I would highly suggest this product :)

I'm absolutely crushed that you've done away with Fabulush...I have a few stashed away, but this is my go to blush...gives a wonderful shimmer of color, brightens my face, and even looks good on the lips. Don't know why you decided to get rid of this color...nobody has anything quite like it, and I love the texture. Please, please reconsider. Don't know what I'll do when my stash is gone.

Recently, I discovered the magic of highlighting---it really is a great way to play up your features and add depth to your face. I've been on the hunt for that perfect highlighting product to claim a spot in my everchanging makeup bag.... and guess what?! I found it. Pearl is the perfect natural highlight. It really adds a little glow where you need it! I also love Shell as a kind of blush. It's just wonderful! If you're debating on whether or not to buy these, buy one RIGHT NOW. Just do it. No regrets :) The only reason I gave this product four stars, not five, is because I wish they came just a wee bit bigger. But no real complaints. The product's amazing, the longevity of it is amazing. Just buy the dang thing!

LOVE LUNA!

For that "Kim K or Nikki M" highlight use "Luna Cream Colour Base" Apply when you are adding your blush and/or bronzer. Once I apply this product Under my eyes/ high cheek bone area and under the jaw line where you would like highlight with bronzer. Then I spray FIX + on my brush and blend blend blend, it gives you this glow that is so amazing. Keep in mind I use all cream products when i apply this.
