its awesome as a powder after foundation but not by itsself i dont know if im not using it the correct way but i am satisfied using it as a pressed powder not a powder foundation love it and totally recommend it

I was in love with Studio Fix Fluid for multiple years and decided to give the powder version of this foundation a try. I've tried pretty much every drugstore and high-end powder foundation and nothing compares! It can be applied with the compact sponge for a very full coverage affect, or with a powder brush to achieve a more natural but at the same time full coverage. I basically hoard these compacts and can never be without it! Love Love Love!

This is the best one ever. Creates a SMOOTH finish for you over the layers of the other necessary products you MUST put on for protection, moisturizing, etc. It's just totally smooth. I think of it as a canvas for me and I can then create the look I want for that day. Using the fabulous new items that MAC has developed - like sculpturing and shaping ones - it's now fun and rewarding to do. I now enjoy my prep time in the morning.

I live in a very humid and warm place and I have a sensitive skin, with very oily T-zone, eventual break outs on that area and some acne scaring on my chin. My skin is pale/yellowish and my current shade is NC30 (I've been thinking of changing it to NC25).
This foundation makes me look decent throughout the day without the need of touch ups (I just do a little touch up on my nose in the middle of the day, but just because I'm a perfectionist with allergy). Big plus is that I actually don't feel like I have any make up on and the skin feels and looks amazingly soft and silky.
Another plus is that it looks great in pictures, even if by any change you exaggerate on the amount you apllied.
It doesn't look cakey or accentuates lines or wrinkles (I'm starting to have strong lines around the lip area and if I use a liquid foundation this is the first area that I have to retouch).
This foundation was the first product from M.A.C I bought about 5 years ago and I keep coming back for more. It's a great cost x benefit ratio and with me it usually lasts 6 months. I highly recommend it.

I use this over my liquid foundation as a setting powder. It gives the face a nice matte finish and sets the foundation beautifully. I would advise anyone to use a bigger, fuller brush to apply as the sponge can make your face look cakey. However, the sponge is perfect for use for on-the-go touch-ups or for applying it to the face without other product underneath it.

I almost didn't like it because it made me look cakey and flat but found techniques to avoid it.I like to use it as a powder or foundation. I use less liquid foundation when i am applying as a powder with a fluffy brush, and If gives a good matte finish. To apply as a foundation i use a more dense kabuki brush and spray it with a little water and apply. It takes away the cakey look and covers very well and smooth. I have oily skin and does mattify a little but I use MAC blotting powder for that. Together I blot less. I also like when I use it as foundation I have less breakouts. It oxidizes, and if u use too much you will look darker through out the day

I've used this powder/foundation for over 10 years. Once you go MAC, you don't go back! It covers up all my skin flaws and goes on evenly without a heavy feel.

I absolutely love this powder/foundation! I didn't really think I would love another powder product after I bought MSF in deep dark natural! this product just blends into my skin unbelievably well. I love this product for my oily skin especially for the summer! I put it on and it just disappears into my skin taking the oil with it! My color is NW45 and the match is dead on! MAC once again is superior to so many other makeup brands on the market! I would recommend this product to those who don't want to wear foundation but want some type of coverage! this is one of my favorite products! I cant say enough great things about it!

I have dry skin and was told that I should properly moisturize my face before applying this because it dries up your skin. It works great but i recommend applying primer first or liquid foundation so it can stick because it seems to fade away after a few hours. It lasts for a very long time too! Definitely get your money's worth.

This is the only thing I use as a foundation. It is a perfect match to my skin tone and a perfect base for the rest of my makeup. I have sensitive skin, but it doesn't cause any problems with breakout or allergy. It looks so natural but covers beautifully. Am always asked what I'm using to get such a natural peaches and cream look. There is nothing better than this at any price.

This is the only powder foundation so far that has provided adequate oil control for my face. It makes my face matte and is very buildable. Someone suggested that I tried the Studio Fix and I was hesitant but I'm glad I found it. It covers my blemishes well.

I have tried A LOT of foundations....drugstore and high end. I was never satisfied with my face because it always looked "dirty" and uneven. I went to get this foundation specifically and the sales girl was so nice and picked out my shade. I am IN love! My face looks natural, but perfectly even and flawless. I like using a stiff brush to apply and i even like the sponge it comes with. The sponge is especially good for touch-ups as I get oily after about 5 hours of wear. I am sticking with this from now on!!

I thought all powder foundation was the same until I tried this one. It gives me a flawless face and I would not trade it for the world. This is truly my desert island product. It goes on great with a kabuki brush for a lighter coverage or you can build it with a sponge. It goes on like a dream.
