Where is my Vintage Allure?
Date:December 27, 2012
I got my palette with Spellcaster (matte chalky eggplant) instead of Vintage Allure. I think the palette makes more much sense with Vintage Allure (matte aubergine) The rest of the colors are good, but not great, spellcaster being the worst... Thank God I got this palette as a gift, I wouldn't have got it by myself.

LOVE!

I absolutely love this smoky eye palette! For me, the pigmentation is absolutely wonderful and they blend beautifully. I do use a primer for my shadows, but I have received so many compliments for this shadow combo. I always feel I have to play with new colors to find the right combo and blend. M.A.C. shadows are the best. These shadows wore without touchup for 6-8 hours easily...I also do have oily skin. I do recommend this palette.

eye kits
Date:November 14, 2012
I am a MAC fanatic but I have to say I am not blown away by these kits. I purchased the kit for warm eyes but ended up returning it because the colors in these pallets already exist. I thought these colors would be limited edition or something.

I love the packaging and all of the colors are pretty, but they are so hard to blend! Especially the matte purple - there is almost no working with that color. I would say it isn't worth the price, but for an easy smokey eye, you can't go wrong with this little palette.

These look great on my fair skin. I tried them in store before buying and am very happy with these!

I fell in love with this product from the moment i saw pictures of it, but the quality is completely lacking. The shades lack pigmentation so badly that they barely show up on the skin even with primer. The shades that do show up are streaky and are like that of low end drugstore brands. This is such a disappointment, but it is apparent that mac focused more on packaging than product for this item.
