I wanted more than a tinted BB cream or moisturizer, so I got this...perfect for the coverage I wanted, and isn't thick or cakey. It is moisturizing too, and looks great with or without powder.

I love this foundation! It is very lightweight and it looks like I am not wearing any foundation. So far, this is the best foundation I have ever tried. It does not feel like I am wearing any, and it does not look cakey. As soon as I finish this little bottle, I will for sure purchase the 120ML one! I just love this foundation!

I thought this type of foundation would be enough coverage for my face but it didn't. I have some brown spots in my face and this did not hide any flaws at all even though I have no pimples or scars. I can't imagine for those with skin issues. I would not recommend this if one uses make-up for the purpose of looking good in a special occasion. This is good only for the grocery store next door. I bought the 50ml Face & body Foundation in color C4, and I am very pleased with it. I wanted something that would make my face tan, the color of the rest of my body to have my face blend in. I have good skin, clear, and normal to dry. This can stay on alone on face if careful like not sleep on pillow or touch the face. Since it is water based, you will need a brush like the #187 or #188. I'm fixing to buy one to apply it on because with my fingers, it stops rubbing after a while like lotions do. That's because its water based.
Great product for a natural coverage NOT full...will not cover scars, just even out skin tone complexion. You can build it up to cover scars, but since its not meant to be a full coverage but rather natural, you will look cakey & use it up rather quickly since its liquid. ONLY buy if you want a natural look.

I really like using this foundation in the summer and when I don't feel like doing much with my face. It has a very natural coverage and it is pretty light. You can keep this foundation light or build it up to about medium coverage. I would recommend a setting powder with this foundation though. Not oil controlling and not long wearing if you wear it without finishing powder.
If you need to slightly cover areas of your body (bikini line, chest, scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tone on body, or just want to make your skin look glowing) this foundation is perfect. I never broke out on my face when using this foundation. It was just so light and airy! Plus there is water in this foundation so I guess that helps moisturize your skin and keep it natural.

This product is amazing. Its perfect for any weather. I wish I would've discovered this foundation way before. My face usually gets a little oily after my makeup sets in but with this foundation it stay the same throught the day. I just apply the "Oil Control" moisturizer before I apply this, and when I'm ready to apply this foundation, I just rub it on the back of my hand to warm it up and until it gets thick and on to my face it goes. I LOVE IT! Its natural and buildable depending how much you put(: This is a must, the type of makeup that should be in your makeup bag!!!<3

I'm always very impressed with mac products, this one is perfect. It makes your skin still look like your naked makeup-free skin but better. Corrects uneven skin tone while still letting the real you through. I was dealing with the winter blahs and thought I'd get this instead of a heavier mac foundation just to perk my skin up a bit. I used it with moisture cover concealer where I needed it and added mac strobe cream to the temples, cheek bones, and cupids bow. Flawless and radiant come to mind. I paired it with quite natural paint pot and a little mac lip treatment. It makes me look almost supernatural but I can still fool people into thinking thats what I roll out of bed looking like. Yet all this only comes second to the fact that without requesting any fancy shipping options I got my package the NEXT day! Really cured my winter blahs by not only getting this fabulous foundation but it arriving at my doorstep the next day!? I'm now a mac face and body convert. Will get the 100 ML next time. Can't wait for summer when I can switch to a darker shade then mix to my hearts content! Perfect!

I restrained myself from buying any MAC foundations over the years b/c time-after-time I'd see girls repeatedly state that it would break them out and everyone out, really. I also noticed that nearly every blogger would mix it with another foundation b/c of the lack of coverage, which defeats the purpose of what a foundation is supposed to do. So, after years I decided to give it a go and took a chance and ordered a C1 online without ever having tested it. It was my perfect shade.
When I first applied it, I noticed that my face looked too shiny--almost wet (and I have very dry skin!) and I didn't notice ANY coverage. I remember thinking that I could just put oil on it to achieve the same result. So then I used a small amount on top of my beloved Estee Lauder Double Wear and LOVED the results. My skin looked flawless but also highlighted and dewy. It lasted the entire day/night, however, I began to notice so many breakouts after a week all over my skin. I recently decided to give it to my sister to try, but I don't think I'll ever be buying MAC foundations again. This is something they seriously need to fix, there's something in their foundations that cause so many to break out.

This is definitely one of my many favorite MAC foundations. If you are looking for a more sheer, natural-looking foundation than look no further. The packaging is okay. There is a bit more product than you'll probably ever use. A little tip to make the product last a little longer is to refridgerate it after you're done using it :)

The makeup artist for my wedding used this on everyone (in different shades of course) and it looked flawless on everyone. It was natural-looking for our outdoor wedding and didn't make me break out the day after, as most foundations do. If an artist with years of experience and no brand loyalty picks this over all the other options, there must be something awesome about it.

I'm a 41yr old African American. I felt like the MAC Studio Tech wasn't giving me the look I deseired after using for about 4yrs. (powder/foundation) My hair is natural and I wanted a look that would compliment my natural beauty in addition to a natural finish. This foundation does that and more. Once you apply the powder; OMG!!!!!! Absolutely gorgeous. I purchased my shade and also went up a shade and purchased the DEEP DARK to use as a highlighter (bronzer) to add that POP!!!! I am normally a fan of beauty balms or tinted moisturizers but most foundations are too much coverage-too fake looking for my taste. I have matchmaster and do not like it. I do not need a lot of coverage but I do like to have a more pulled together, polished appearance to my make up so I do wear foundation. This one is perfect! It starts out sheer. It can build though if you need it to. It wears all day (for me) and it doesn't settle in my lines or aggravate my somewhat dry skin. Nice!

A Permanent Addition To My Makeup Bag!

This stuff is amaziiiiiiing! It is sheer, but buildable, and since it is waterbased, it feels ultra light on the skin. It leaves a really nice, natural (and almost slightly dewy) finish to the skin, and the shades are very versatile. To give an idea of shades (since it is kind of hard to tell online) I am half Black, half Japanese with light caramel colored skin with golden undertones, and I am a C3 during winter, and C4 during the summer, and while I am trasitioning from my summer tan, to my paler winter shade, I simply mix the two together to accomadate that "in between" period. This is definitely a holy grail item for me.
