Forever Rose Unusual Color

I was looking for a deep pink that wouldn't make me look washed out. Forever Rose is one of those hard-to-find colors. It's a deep, somewhat warm pink, almost dark enough to be red. The color would look good on almost anyone. Also, the shine is incredible. I can see why it's called "lip glass." Definitely a 5-star product. Thanks Mac.

I wore Forever Rose to the Coachella Fest, and all weekend long I was complimented by my friends telling me how fresh my makeup looked. Honestly, I only applied three times throughout the full day of festivities as this lipglass is long lasting. That's unheard of with a gloss. Not to mention, it smells delicious when you first put it on. Of course, a little breeze will cause your hair to stick to the lipglass, but this con is nothing in the way of all the pros of owning this gloss. Don't think, just buy.

I purchased this item in "Show Me!" It is a beautiful pinkish shade that looks almost neutral on my lips. The gloss is not sticky and it does last a few hours (not exactly sure that it lasts up to 6 though, especially after eating). The downside of this item is that (not sure if it is just me) it sort of turned white at the corners of my mouth. It works best if you put it on top of a matte lipstick, like I do.

I love this lip glass because it makes my lips look very good and the nude color is so perfect. I also like the fact that it stays on I would look in the mirror and it was still there looking great.I will be purchasing more.

The colors are beautiful - I ordered Long Love Love, yum, my favorite pink. But this "gloss" is a thick, sticky, messy glob! Yuk. Returned it. I like my glosses creamy and smooth, not sticky, think, frosty or pearly. I wish mac made more of the former.

The Persistent Peach is a nice natural-looking color on my very fair, NC20, complection. This product lasts a lot longer than the regular Lipglass I have. It is a little sticky.

I love this lip gloss. I use it for everyday natural look and I carry it in my purse and re-apply often (which you need to do). I am not one for wearing dark colored lip gloss, so this is subtle and natural which I love. I will definitely purchase it again.

I love dark as night and I get many compliments so many that I ended up giving it to my God sister who wears it beautifully. I will be buying it again soon. I do have one concern. It does not seem to stay on more than two hours.

Color-wise:
My husband & I went to the MAC store & I saw an artist wearing PRO LONGWEAR LIP GLASS in color SHOW ME! I tried it on and my husband & I loved the neutral color, it's a light brown peach which I love, it's not boring for a neutral, but classy & professional. Very pretty color! I am a tanned Mexican, and the artist was a light complected Caucasian & Show Me! looked great on both complexions!
Moisturizes:
As soon as you spread this on your lips, you will see your lip wrinkles disappear!
If you have little dead skin from chapped lips hanging, it will moist them after a few minutes, and you can gently pull them off without hurting or bleeding. It softens them from the tip so you can just yank them off.

Viscosity:
It is VERY thick when you first apply it. After you have it on for a few minutes, you don't feel it as thick anymore though.
Applicator Brush:
The applicator brush that it comes with is pretty awesome! It's a little rectangle that is rounded enough to fill in the lips, but the rectangle angles are ideal to line your lips & not go over or out of line. Very soft for the lips.
Application:
A little goes a LONG way! It's important to start out with very little by only dipping it ONCE and spreading it & covering your entire lip, then dipping the brush again for the second lip, and IF needed or wanted, redo each lip for a more intense color.
Warning:
It will feel REALLY thick if you use a heavy hand to apply or a light hand, but after a few minutes you forget about it.
It won't last 6 hours if you're not too careful eating & drinking.
If I peck not even kiss my husband while I wear this, some ends up on his lips.
I can't rub my lips together or against each other because it will feel really sticky, & will leave color lines unless I gently rub them or use the applicator brush with a mirror.
Conclusion:
Great to wear for some days of the week only because of it's thickness.

Love this product. Goes on thick and leaves a glossy nude color that lasts a while (not through eating and drinking though). The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it's not a lipgloss that you can put on without a mirror and just push your lips together to smear it around. Instead it must be carefully applied to make sure of even coverage, it is sticky. But a beautiful end result!

This stuff is really thick!! So thick i had to really try and get it on corner of lips. Tip of wand moves its not like the stiff ones. I do not understand why such a cheap wand? When the stuff is thick. I also did not like the way it looked. Just a weird experience. Going to return? I would not want this on my lips for long lasting

This is my first Pro Longwear Lipglass. I was hoping that MAC had the shiny ones. I did not like the other Pro Longwear with the clear gloss on the other end because it was caking. But not this one! Perfect moisture, shine and lasts awhile even after I eat & drink. I learned that you have to only put a little and not as much as the regular lipglass. I got the Love Love Love. I first put a lot and it looked too bright like neon in pictures, so I learned to put just a little less. Also too much will go to the corners of my mouth. I'm going to get more of these in other colors. So excited! Thank you Mac!

This lipgloss stays on all day no matter what you are doing. The color is so bight and colorfu.This can be a everyday lipgloss, it is very thick I think that why it stays on all day. If nothing stays on then this is your best bet...

Gave this product a 4 out 5 because it is a little sticky and hard to get off. I loveee the colors and the fact that I can eat, drink, kiss my husband and it still doesn't smudge! I'm a NW45 and got "dark as night" usually darker colors won't work for me, and make me look like a corpse, but I decided to try this and was pleasently surprised. The pigment popped and the purple looked great on my lips. I would definitely reccommend this product. Good going Mac :)

I finally got my first MAC product and I have to say, I was kind of let down.
I bought Patience, Please and couldn't wait to try out the gloss!
But, when I first got home and tried it on, I knew from the first swipe it was gonna be awful. It was thick, clumpy, and very pigmented. I had to work with it for five minutes before it even looked somewhat presentable, and even then it just was bad.
But, I read that if you put on a glodd first and then the lipglass, it will work much better.
And they were right! The color is beautiful, but it kind of makes me look a bit corpse-like. Maybe this color just isn't for me.
