Recently, started using finishing powder and found this online and thought that maybe this would be nice for a mess free application. I was right unlike the loose powder this is much easier to travel with, and I can put my make up on in the backseat of a cab and not be worried about spills or having too much product on the bush. I think this was worth the buy, it is neat and easy to use, no spills and limits the over use of product.

I am surprised the description doesn't say anything about reducing the appearance of larger pores which i happen to be plagued with. UGH. The MAC PREP + PRIME line is wonderful for this skin issue. With my upcoming wedding it will be a GOD send for photos. Thank you once again MAC for leading the way in the cosmetics industry. Your products actually achieve their goal!!!

It took me a while to warm up to this product but now I love it and it's a regular part of my makeup regime. I am NC50/NW45 and initially thought the product would look ashy on my skin. Although it looks white in the pan it does apply clear. You just might need to give it a second to let it absorb oil to finish it's transition to clear. A little Fix+ spray will help it along to make it perfect and give you a nice soft satin finish. Great for oil absorbtion. My only recommendation is to try to wait a few seconds until your foundation dries to apply it so the powder remains clean and white in the compact case throughout its use.

This is the perfect product to start your day off right. It makes your makeup last so much longer... I usually just have to re-apply this product around six after a full day at work. It's AMAZING! If a shine free face is what you're looking for, you found it! :)

This powder is great for setting foundation and oil control. I often use it towards the afternoon what my nose starts to get shiny because of my super oily Asian skin. It is a great alternative to applying extra layers of powder which, eventually, looked caked on at night.
The only reason I give this product 4 out of 5 stars is the fact that it does not last long. If I don't use it sparingly then I have to buy a new one at the end of the month. If you want to use this professionally then you are better off getting set powder.

I love this!!! This works so good, i put it on after i put on Matchmaker.. I let my friend use aswell and she was surprised how good it works and the after look she got! Your skin looks amazing! Now I have very oily skin! and with this Texas weather, my oils still come out! so i have to reply it for that amazing skin look!! I would have to say to get this! plus it made my skin look younger! THIS IS DEFF A MUST HAVE!! :)

i must say that i was a little disappointed with this product... i read many reviews, and i guess those raised my expectations... the powder is very basic, the only thing that makes this any better than a drugstore powder is that it goes on translucent... it does not help with my shine, it does look a little cakey at times too...

I bought this for the oil control. I get severely oily on my nose, forehead, and chin. Works good on the forehead and chin, but not for the nose. Still have to use blotting sheets 2-3 times a day for the nose. It does, however, make your makeup stay put and last all day long. I wear this product over my foundation. Have to keep looking for shine control though.

I am African American with very oily skin. The great ladies at the MAC store recommended this product. It is amazing! I only have to touch up my face once a day. Don't become put off by the product being white. It is translucent and adapts to your skin tone.

I bought this with high hopes of it controlling my oily and combination skin throughout the day. Well, it does! I could not be happier. I was originally given the Loose Powder, but I could not take it with me, which I aimed to do. I exchanged it for the pressed and I really hope everyone has this product. I use it over foundation for the most perfect, velvety skin ever.

OMG I used to work for a well known french company and have purchased many many finishing powders, but this one blows the rest of them out of the water. I use this as the final step after a full face of makeup and it truly makes my skin look flawless. If you've overdone your blush, this will soften the look. It also decreases the look of pores and blurs imperfections. . I hope that Mac never stops making this product. I'll always keep a backup of this just in case. Try it, you'll see a big differance afterwards. THANK YOU MAC!

I used this to set my fix fluid and sometimes my lip colour. I purchased it, instead of my usual pressed powder and skinfinish, on the recommendation of my MAC artist and I am very pleased. It does go on white but QUICKLY becomes invisible as it sets. It also helps to make it look more natural if you buff it in as you are dusting it on. This is good for touch-ups as long as you remember it provides no colour. Use the Prep + Prime face and you likely won't need any more colour. That's an impressive product too!

Love that I do not need to find a matching powder, since finding the right shade for my foundation is already hard enough! Will continue to buy, and LOVE, but than again if you have dry skin than yes it will show some patches and flakes. GREAT for if you guys have oily skin, or combination! :)

I bought Prep & Prime Transparent Finishing Powder/Pressed last year in December right after Christmas. I use Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15, and wanted something to help finish my makeup. This is a white powder but fades to translucent on your skin.I I liked it, but felt like another drugstore powder could've done the same job.
