Great, except...
Date:July 1, 2011
Tags: Leak-proof, Compact, Travel friendly, anything that they will accommodate
I bought these with the intention of putting moisturizers, wax and liquids in so I could compact them into a 1-quart size bag for travel. They're a great concept because they fit more than enough for a few days of travel and allow for plenty of room in the bag for the 1-oz. bottles I purchased as well, but after one use, the threading on the bottom of the jars has started cracking vertically.

Stackable but not detachable
Date:August 11, 2011
I was disappointed by these stackable jars, as they are not able to stand alone as a single. The bottom of each jar is permanently attached by the screw-on jar above it, which is not very flexible when considering travel needs. I will be returning these when I get around to it.

PIGMENTS

I personally think these are best to store your pigments. It saves me space, it's color organized by my liking, and you get to recycle the pigment jars to back to mac and get something else for them.

I love these jars mainly because they are leak-proof. I can even put my keratin oil in them and they won't leak. These jars are a must have.

GREAT for Lipsticks

I love these! I was able to consolidate all of my Lipsticks and group them according to color, finish, etc. I peel the sticker from the bottom of the tube, smash the bullet into a little jar, stick the sticker onto the bottom of the jar, and there you go! The best is that you can keep the lid closed until you know what color(s) are needed for the job, and you don't have to guess! You save time, you save space, and you save energy!
BE SURE TO RETURN YOUR EMPTY LIPSTICK TUBES TO MAC. Back 2 MAC is awesome!

great concept

these are a great concept - love the way they stack and stay put in travel bag, but really only last one or two trips - threads will crack and break very easily.

Help!

I keep these for travel with clients going out on photo shoots for touching up. Yesterday I was on location and I couldn't get two of my stack opened. One cracked when someone tried to help me. NOT GOOD - very unprofessional!
Please come up with some other form of travel container that is better constructed. A single is better than a stack. Back in the day, there were single "pots" with black lids in this size and smaller for sampling product to a client. They were an easy way to travel with everything-- to throw into a bag in case you needed an on the spot touch of something.
Im ordering more of these just because there isn't anything else you offer.
PLEASE HELP.
