Wonderful!

These things are amazing! I own two--Bare Study and Indianwood--and I just ordered Rubenesque. I don't love spending tons of time on my makeup in the summer, so I needed a quick fix for beautiful, summery eyes: these paint pots really do the trick! I just swipe em on, add some eyeliner and mascara, and I'm out the door! It's my new favorite summer 2011 product, and a must-have! I highly recommend Indianwood for the summer months because it gives your eyes a nice bronzy glow. I've been using my paint pots daily for more than a month and I've barely made a dent in the pot. These are going to last awhile. I haven't experienced any creasing, nor have my paint pots dried out at all. Make sure that you keep the lid on tight! Wonderful product. After I get my hands on Rubenesque, I plan on adding Painterly and Constructivist to my collection as well. (: MAC, you've done it again!

I have indianwood... and it is soooo pretty! It actually shows up lighter and more shimmery than the picture. Which i love! It is one of my favorite paint pots and i use it almost everyday! It is so worth the price!

amazing product! I have had indianwood for 2 years now and it's not even close to running out and I use it almost every day. the color is beautiful and vibrant goes on smooth just like it says and DOES NOT crease. I am so glad MAC still carries this product, please don't go away! :)

Painterly: Base/Concealer/Primer
Date:May 14, 2012

I have always had dark under-eye circles and felt like I was constantly touching up my concealer throughout the day, but no longer! Painterly paintpot was recommended to me as an eye primer, but I was SHOCKED at how perfectly it evened out the colour around my eyes.
I use it every day under eye makeup: creamy, easy to apply, lasts ALL DAY, completely covers dark eye circles and corrects colour, and acts as a great base/primer for eye makeup. I've searched and haven't found anything that comes close.
I wear NW20 or NC20 (depends on the season) and painterly works with both shades. The little pot lasts forever, too! I have yet to mix it with eye shadow, but I'm sure it works great like that too!

Painterly Paint Pot

I love this stuff, I never used to use anything under eye shadow but this has been great as a base/primer. It's very creamy and you need very little. It does a great job preventing creasing and it's also great to just even out the skin tone on the lid if you want just a real natural look for the day.

Love this paint pot! I purchased it in 2 colors. It works great as a primer before applying eyeshadow, or I use the darker color by itself when I am on the run! Great product.

I use Soft Ochre as a primer/base for eyeshadow and liner - that particular shade is matte, has no shimmer, and a yellow undertone. It really makes a difference in how shadows go on - they "cling" to the lid more, stay on longer, and make colors bolder. I don't know how I lived without the product for as long as I did - I will never go back to putting eyeshadow on a "bare" lids again!

I use Bare Study Paint Pot as an eyeshadow primer. It's the perfect neutral shade that works well with many different skintones. Even on darker skin coloring like mine. This perfectly evens out my lids and creates a smooth canvas for my eyeshadows to go on. I find it odd that blending is easier with the use of the paint pot. The colors are just more defined and last for hours without creasing or disappearing.

I was recommened by a MAC Arisit to get the Groundwork in the paint pot. I was looking for an eyeshadow bases for WOC to give me an even canvas to work with to apply eyeshadows. This item was perfect bc it allowed my eyeshadows to shine through. I adore this little miracle!

I bought the painterly paint pot yesterday and today when I tried it, I fell in love! This really helps the eyeshadows you put on to be really true to their color and it really helps the eyeshadow go on smoother, and I just adore it already!

Bare Study is Great
Date:April 13, 2012
Tags: Bold Color, Highly pigmented, Blendable, Crease resistant, anyone!
I don't like to look like I have a lot of makeup on, I have small eyes so cannot wear dark colors. I used to not even wear eye shadow, but not anymore since I found "Bare Study." It gives a beautiful highlight to eyes without looking too artificial. I like that I can just swipe my finder in it to apply, so easy!!! I wear it with their brown eyeliner and I love the look! Great for people who want a natural yet radiant look.

I have been using these 2 colors almost daily. They do not give an ashy cast and they help my pigments last all day. I sometimes wear these colors alone if I am in a hurry.I suggest this item for everyone.

Not worth it

doesn't keep eyemakeup where it should. some colors have too much sparkle, and glitter. I have used "chilled on ice" and another form of a nude color. lots of need for touchups throughout the day, could not take it back because was told the item was discontinued.

Where do I even begin? I LOVVVEEE this stuff! I use it as a primer under my eye shadow. I have really sensitive eyes and this stuff helps keep shadow on my eyelids. It gives a nice gentle shimmer without being too dramatic! Amazing product. Mac is all I wear. It may be expensive, but it's worth the money. The product lasts 3-6 months with regular everyday use!

I recently bought one of these and I must say what in the world was I doing without one?! I personally put it down as a nice base before I put some of my eyeshadow on top and it really makes the colors pop and not run into each other during the span of the day. It's definitely something that you can just throw it on and look natural or jazz it up and take it into the night scene. Excellent product!

Best Eye Color Ever
Date:March 9, 2012

I love this product. I read an article that recommended the paint pot eye color and decided to give it a try. The powder eye shadows I had been using seemed to fade by the afternoon and I wanted something that lasted. I bought Painterly and found it to be a very nice, almost skin toned color that is great for everyday. The color lasts all day long and the smooth texture made my eyelids smoother too - not crepey like some of the powder shadows looked. Great! I just purchased Groundwork and it's also nice on it's own or in combo with other colors. The product is easy to apply and lasts all day long, but also washes off easily with no oily makeup remover necessary. Apply with your finger to get best application as it's creamy and the warmth of your finger helps it blend. This may be the perfect eye color - definitely buying more colors.
