I am a young MAC lover, and this product, by far, is one of MAC's best! It looks completely natural and CRAZY pigmented. Sometimes, if I am in a rush, I will just buff this product in with a kabuki brush and my skin looks ten times better! I give this product a thumbs up, and if you are just starting out with makeup, this product is an essential!

I am in my 50s and am always on the lookout for makeup that will work well and look natural on aging skin. I do have good skin, though, and have the amount of "aging" that women in their late 30s or early 40s typically have. I have used Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation in NC42 and like it, but find it somewhat heavy.
I researched the Mineralize Skinfinish Natural and wanted to try that, esp for Summer, when I want something light and my combination skin is a bit more oily. The MAC artist at my local store recommended Medium Dark for me. The color is perfect now, but I'll need a darker color later in the Summer.
I use a powder puff pad that I purchased from Wal-Mart to apply the powder. I don't really need a mirror to apply it in this fashion, but it would be nice if the compact had a mirror. I apply it to clean, moisturized skin and it's so natural-looking that you can't even tell I have any makeup on. My skin just looks smoother and my color is more even. I love that. It has very minimal coverage, but builds a little if you touch-up a couple of times during the day.
I can't detect any shimmer or shine and it doesn't settle in the few lines that I have. It also does not make my face look matte or dry. The name is very descriptive, because it looks very Natural. I will definitely be using this from now on.

I do like this powder. I use it almost daily. My only complaint is that it isn't really long lasting when it comes to oil control and staying matte. But I will probably repurchase.

I used to use Studio Fix foundation plus powder and thought it was a good powder granted it was. But I decided to change due to the fact that I believe the studio fix was a little too heavy for my face and was making me break out. So I switched to this and all I have to say is AMAZING!! I buff this baby on with my mac kabuki and my face doesnt look powdery or even slightly heavy but dewy and youthful!! Its soo soft and gentle on my face & It covers well too!! If you have any hesitation on trying this DONT!! Even if you plan on using it alone like me or to set your foundation you wont regret it!!! I have super pale skin but during summer Im a NW20 to NW25 so I went with the medium and its a perfect color!! So glad I made the switch!!

I have been using this product since it came out. I bought it along with another foundation as a finishing powder and was hesitant at first because I didn't think that I needed it. I am so happy that I bought it because it ended up becoming my foundation! This powder makes your skin look flawless, it is light weight and gives you just enough coverage. I use it after applying Mineralized Charged Water Moisture Gel and they are a perfect combo! I suggest this product for anyone that wants a natural looking, light, and easy to apply powder.

I rate Mineralize Skinfinish very highly because of the following reasons:

i brought this product in deep/dark and I love I have oilly skin but this manages to give me a nice radiant finish without being olily. I wore this for 12 hours and tooktook a nap, and still my skin looked amazin, I only had to blot one time!!!! love love love

I have used this powder for years. I have medium complexion and I use the medium plus. I use it both for setting my foundation as well as I carry an extra one in my purse for touching up throughout the day. What I love most about this powder is it gives you a great airbrushed finished if applied with a good brush. I hope MAC never discontinues this product. It is a staple in my make up wardrobe - both personally and as a make up artist. The other great thing about this product is it works great for photography. You don't need to worry about your face turning white while taking snapshots of yourself. I switched from the studio fix powder to this one because this. Thanks MAC for such great products! I always like to try new things but I always come back to MAC because of the quality! It is worth paying a little more to get the payoff found in MAC!

I love this powder and have purchased it time and time again. It gives off a nice, natural lookng, light-medium coverage which is definitely buildable. It is not too mattifying when applied dry, but when applied wet, it can give a beautiful natural sheen for those with dryer skin.

. . .this is the product you need. I'm in my late forties and needless to say, have tried many powders over the years. Typically, they appear chalky on me . . .so I was skeptical about MAC's Mineralized Skin Finish Natural . . .but decided to try anyway. WOW! This has to be their best ever product!
Over foundation or just over a little concealer, the coverage is so beautiful and unlike any powder I've ever tried. Loved it so much, I went back for a second to keep in my purse.

I'm so amazed by this powder! I have it on now over the Prolongwear concealer (used under my eyes and over some dark spots around my chin, in NC25) and set with Fix+. It's perfect. I've been wearing it for a few hours now and it still looks as good as it did when I first put it on. Plus, for a powder that feels super light, the pigmentation is impressive and I love the demi-matte finish. On my dry-combination skin, it hasn't yet looked cakey and its actually doing a pretty good job of controlling oil in my t-zone (which is usually the area of my face where make-up goes to die). I bought it in medium plus. It might actually be a shade or two too dark (in terms of matching my face, which is naturally darker, to my super pale neck) but in the summer this'll be perfect, and not just because of the shade but because on lazy or really hot days when I don't feel like layering on a full face of make-up I can just dust this on over concealer and still feel like I look pretty good and even-toned.

This powder is too chalky. It doesn't make my skin look polished. I believe this product is good for younger people. Not for older 50ish. I believe MAC caters to younger women. It leaves a horrible finish around my nose and cheeks after a few hours. Almost like my foundation is slipping. Never had this problem with powders from other brands. I'm going to return it but it will probably cost me more to ship it back.

It'a amazing! it just evens out skin tone and gives me a glow. But after a long day, if you have oily skin, you'll need to touch up.

I love using this for contouring my face and it looks natural! Doesn't feel I have powder on my face. Feels smooth. Think it's also good as finishing powder but mine is in Dark which is for contouring my face. Will repurchase this when I ran out!

This is by far my favorite setting powder for my foundation. I use the color Medium Plus and am an NW25 shade in foundations. The powder is extremely lightweight so it doesnt weigh down your face or feel heavy along with a liquid foundation. It provides a really natural matte finish which i love and proviedes an extra subtle coverage over what your already wearing. I use mine everyday and ive had mine for about 4 months now and have only gone through half of it and still have not hit pan

I love this prodict so much!!!! Its definatly the best i have ever used! i am a african american women, and for my dark skin tone, it is hard to find a great match for my skin! This product is absolutly perfect, it is the only thing i use on my face! It gives me a even tone, with a natural glow, and good coverage, while not being very heavy. Sometimes i forget i even have it on! ! i get plenty of compliments on how flawless my skin looks. However, its not just I, it is MINERALIZE SKINFINISH NATURAL to get all the credit!! IT IS THE BEST!!

Just purchased last week when I was in the store at the behest of my fav Mac lady, she has the same oily skin I have and I didn't want the powder look that I sometimes get from my normal setting powder after my studio fluid foundation, so she suggested this and I am sooo glad, it's amazing, your skin looks fresh, natural with a nice glow.
It's so,natural looking, I can't say enough.
